The Start Life Program (SLP) equips young people with the confidence, practical skills and real-world understanding they need to navigate the transition from high school into adulthood—and make informed decisions about what comes next.
Through an experience-led programme that brings together experienced trainers, industry professionals and global learning partners, students explore their strengths and ambitions, discover career and skilling opportunities, develop essential life and communication skills, build financial confidence, and learn to think entrepreneurially.
From understanding who they are and where they want to go to learning how to manage money, communicate with confidence and turn ideas into opportunities, Start Life gives young people the tools to take greater ownership of their future.

For over 15 years, Explore Careers has supported hundreds of students as they navigate important decisions about education, careers and their future.
What began as a student recruitment and education advisory service has grown through a simple observation: choosing what comes after high school is only the beginning. Young people also need the confidence, skills and real-world understanding to navigate everything that comes next.
That insight has shaped a broader mission—to help young people make informed choices, develop the capabilities to thrive and transition from high school into purposeful, independent adulthood. Today, Start Life is the next chapter of that journey: bringing together career discovery, communication, real-world exposure, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, well-being and practical life skills to help young people build the foundations for their future.

It is designed for students in their final year of high school, those about to begin their final year, and recent school leavers who want clarity and confidence for life after school.
The SLP Masterclass is an intensive 3-day experience focused on Career Discovery & Mentorship, Financial Literacy & Money Management, and Public Speaking & Confidence Building.
Delivered over 3 months, it covers career discovery, communication skills, real-world exposure, entrepreneurship, wellbeing, financial literacy, a capstone project, and specialized masterclasses such as Excel, PowerPoint, AI tools, and interview readiness.
